The MENA ICT Forum is an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Information and Communications Technology Enabled Services (ICTES) industry event for the MENA region, that is held in Jordan on a bi-annual basis. The event was previously known as Jordan ICT Forum in it’s previous incarnations.
This year’s event is scheduled for October 10-11, 2010; and expands to focus on the whole region’s ICT and ICTES success stories, trends, opportunities, and future outlook and plans.
The MENA ICT Forum 2010 will be held at the King Hussein Business Park in Amman, a modern and high-tech business park dedicated to the ICT and ICTES industry.
The forum features an agenda that covers a number of current and future issues of interest, covering things like Arabic content, social media, mobile applications, cloud computing, business process outsourcing and emerging trends and technologies among other topics.
The event aims to address all these issues in a context that is highly relevant to the MENA region, hoping to provide the business community, decision makers, and stakeholders with a holistic overview of the region’s current position, opportunities on hand, and recommended approaches to capitalize on those.
Some of the listed speakers for this year’s event are: Ahmed Nassef (VP and Managing Director for Yahoo! Middle East), Majied Qasem (Co-founder and CEO of d1g.com), Cathy Rodgers (IBM VP of Global Opportunities), Hosam Sokkari (Head of audience at Yahoo! Middle East) and Mike Baldock (IT Management consultant).
Hi Mohamed,
It's not in mafraq, its in king hussien business park AMMAN
BR
Hi, Thanks for the correction. I thought it was weird too.
The site does say that it is being held at King Hussein Bin Talal Development Area though: http://bit.ly/cXpNtt
And that is in Al Mafraq, as stated here: http://bit.ly/cLuEdr
Anyway, I'm going to go with your correction because it simply makes more sense 🙂
It is already stated in the press release above that the conference will be held at “the King Hussein Business Park in Amman, a modern and high-tech business park dedicated to the ICT and ICTES industry”
Yes, that was fixed after the comment below 😉
Can we fix it in the events calendar? It still says King Hussein Bin Talal Development Area, Al Mafraq
Thank you
Yep, fixed now. Thanks for bringing my attention to that part too.
Thank you for your prompt action
